Overview

Robert "Rob" Hunnicutt represents clients in DUI and criminal defense matters, estate planning, and probate matters throughout West Georgia. A native of LaGrange, Georgia, Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of West Georgia before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

While attending law school, Rob interned with the Coweta Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office, where he gained courtroom experience handling criminal matters under Georgia's Student Practice Act. Following graduation, he served for five years as an Assistant Solicitor-General with the Carroll County Solicitor-General's Office, prosecuting thousands of misdemeanor and traffic cases, including DUI, vehicular homicide, and other serious criminal offenses.

As a trial attorney, Rob has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials and has extensive courtroom experience litigating criminal cases. He has also successfully represented the State in appellate matters before Georgia's appellate courts, providing him with a thorough understanding of both trial and appellate practice.

In addition to his private practice, Rob serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, representing the State in matters involving child welfare, abuse, and neglect.
