Attorney Information
Overview
Rick Crowson is a trial lawyer dedicated to helping his clients collect money owed and resolve business disputes. He specializes in helping contractors and other vendors collect unpaid bills from commercial property owners.
At Isenberg & Hewitt, P.C., Rick had the privilege of working with and learning under the late Harriet Isenberg – one of the preeminent creditor’s rights attorneys in the state. Rick and his team work every day to honor her legacy and represent clients with the same vigor and skill that sets the firm apart from others. As a client, you can expect Rick to value your time and money and give honest and direct advice, based on years of hard-won experience. His willingness to take cases to trial is a key advantage in resolving disputes without one.
In addition to commercial collections and business litigation, Rick is a passionate advocate for injured victims of crime. Rick and the firm have recovered millions of dollars for victims of shootings, sexual assaults, nursing home abuse, wrongful death, child abuse and sex trafficking.
Isenberg & Hewitt has the knowledge, skill, and resources to fight the biggest corporate opponents and insurance companies to obtain justice for its clients. As experienced representatives of victims of crime and survivors, Rick and the rest of the team understand how trauma can affect the legal process and work with our clients to build trust during a process that can be difficult. Rick also selectively represents people seriously injured in car wrecks and slip-and-falls, based on the individual merits of each case.
Rick attended Tulane Law School where he had the pleasure of interning for the Honorable Fredericka Homberg Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and the late Honorable Gary Andrews of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He is a proud member of Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, National Crime Victim Bar Association, Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and the Commercial Law League of America. He is admitted to all state and federal courts in Georgia. Rick also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from Georgia State University which he attended at night while teaching high school full time.
Before Isenberg & Hewitt, Rick worked at an Am Law 100 firm where he began to hone his skills as a trial lawyer. He also earned significant experience as the litigation attorney for a large personal injury firm where he represented injured clients across the state from Augusta to Albany. These experiences helped him develop a deep belief in the principle that all Americans are entitled to justice under the law, no matter who you are or where you’re from.
In his spare time, you can find Rick cheering on the Falcons, watching rugby, or exploring the beautiful outdoors with his family and dog.
