Hired Law firm 2024Worst excuse for a lawyer ever. Run away as fast as you can. Sean acts like you are a bother to him, and he is superior to you. He isn't professional at all. I wish that I would have Hired someone else, but it's to late now. :(

Hired Law firm 2021Upon Hiring Sean I asked him how many times he worked a case like mine. He confidently said he could take on my case with no problem. I also asked him how many times has he represented clients with this judge assigned to my case. Again, he confidently said he felt good about my case. After trusting his answers I hired him. I submitted quite a bit of evidence to represent my case. He also said he would subpoena a key witness. He never did. Sean was the most unprofessional, non caring, in mature, lying and should not be in practice. The morning of my case Sean comes to me telling me how unfair and mean the judge is. He bullied me into taking a offer. Judge was nothing like Sean described. Because of Sean’s lie I got a 24 hour visit with my granddaughter and 9 hours of it is driving. I no doubt believe the judge had he heard my case would of given me longer visitation. Sean clearly was not interested at all let alone did not present any of my evidence. All he kept talking about was is his suit clean and his hurt knee. He took my money by NOT doing his job. Trust me you do NOT want to hire Sean.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
