Jeremy Simpson - Woodstock, GA

Jeremy Simpson is an Associate Attorney on the Corporate Counsel Team at Oliver Hughes LLC. He received his BA in English from Kennesaw State University, his MA in English from Georgia State University, and his JD from Mercer University School of Law. Mr. Simpson spent his time entrenched in student organizations at Mercer, including being the founder of the Mercer Law Debate Society and serving as an elected leader of the Student Bar Association. Mr. Simpson helped lead the Mercer Law Tax Clinic and received the State Bar of Georgia Tax Student of the Year award for his successful efforts in the academic fields of tax law. Mr. Simpson also received CALI Awards for his efforts in Advanced Legal Writing, Taxation of Pass-Through Entities, the Mercer Law Tax Clinic, and Income Tax.

Before joining Oliver Hughes LLC, Mr. Simpson worked at Metro Atlanta firms where he specialized in tax and business, particularly representing both plaintiffs and defendants in matters of contract disputes, business formation, and business planning. Mr. Simpson also has experience representing clients in estate and tax planning, intellectual property, and construction disputes.

Mr. Simpson currently focuses on corporate counsel work in the fields of business and construction law, with a strong passion for resolving matters through clarity and effective drafting. Mr. Simpson strives to ensure his clients are provided with robust solutions to fit their matter, and he is never afraid to think outside of the box for creative solutions to complex problems.
