For over three decades Jason M. Tani has practiced in the fields of Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction Litigation, Trust and Probate Litigation and Real Estate Litigation.

He was an Associate Editor of the University of Oregon, School of Law, Law Review.

Prior to joining Goodsill, Jason practiced for more than 21 years with a mid-sized law firm in Honolulu focusing on commercial and construction litigation. Jason has been with Goodsill for the past five years and examples of his work include:

Construction Litigation: Defended commercial and residential contractors and developers in multi-million dollar lawsuits pertaining to alleged construction defects and delay damages.

Professional Malpractice: Defended real estate agents, attorneys, accountants and other professionals in malpractice lawsuits.

Insurance Defense and Coverage Litigation: Regularly defends insureds against a wide array of tort and contract claims. Defended insureds in premise liability lawsuits, and general liability lawsuits, automobile accidents, and has also litigated first and third-party bad faith lawsuits.

Employment Related Litigation: Litigated numerous lawsuits defending a company’s non-compete/non-solicitation agreements and other employment related matters.

Trust and Probate Litigation: Regularly handles trust and probate litigation matters.
