Overview
Kamrie Koi is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Before joining Goodsill, Kamrie worked as a litigation associate at another law firm in Honolulu, during which she was selected to the Super Lawyers’ 2024 Hawaiʻi Rising Star list.
Born and raised on Hawaiʻi island, Kamrie graduated from Kaʻū High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Administration of Justice from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. Kamrie graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law (“Richardson”) in 2021. During her time at Richardson, Kamrie received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in four courses. Kamrie served as Editor-in-Chief for Richardson’s Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal, worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Cory Lenz, and a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research classes and Legal Writing (Lawyering Fundamentals) classes.
After law school and prior to practicing, Kamrie worked as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Henry T. Nakamoto of the Third Circuit Court of the State of Hawaiʻi, and the Honorable James H. Ashford of the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaiʻi.
