Boise Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Overview

Daniel Loras Glynn focuses his practice on all levels of commercial litigation, from general business dispute resolution to complex litigation.

Daniel graduated from Whitman College with a B.S. in Political Science in 1992, where he received the Robert J. Fluno Award for outstanding work in the field of political science for the year 1992. Daniel obtained his J.D. cum laude from Gonzaga University in 1994 and was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1995. Before entering into private practice, Daniel served as a law clerk for the Idaho Supreme Court from May 1995 through June 1996 where he honed the research and writing skills that would ultimately become an effective compliment to the advocacy skills that are the centerpiece of his litigation practice.

Daniel's practice is litigation focused, having been involved in a wide variety of commercial litigation involving mechanic lien litigation, title insurance defense, and general business litigation. In addition, Daniel has an extensive employment law practice, addressing not only the implementation of compliant workplace policies, but also various employment related matters from wage claims to discrimination claims. In particular, Daniel frequently advises and represents his clients with regard to cases involving trade secret protection, enforcement of non-competition agreements, as well as complex litigation of class action and anti-trust/monopoly related matters.

Daniel Loras Glynn has developed the knowledge and expertise to assist his corporate and individual clients in the resolution of issues prior to litigation as well as to aggressively, effectively, and efficiently represent his clients in the sometimes necessary eventuality of litigation itself.

Daniel is a member of the Idaho State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Idaho, the United States District Courts of Idaho, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

5.0 out of 5 stars

I used to trust every lawyer joke I heard until I came across Daniel. Had an important civil case and he just was incredible. From the start, he listened, measured, and let me know what I could expect from my options if pursued. He was honest, forthright and a good man of character, and thanks to all that...We were successful! Many odds were against us but his professionalism and skill won the day. Highly recommended!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
