Overview
Kourtney McDougall is a member of the firm’s transactional business and estate planning group, where she specializes in the areas of business transactions, dental practice transitions, estate planning, probate and trust administration, and real estate.
Raised in Boise, Idaho, Kourtney has a keen desire to assist her clients as they grow their business or expand their family roots here in the Treasure Valley and throughout Idaho.
Following high school she attended the University of Utah and graduated with a B.S. degree in Political Science, accompanied by a business minor. Thereafter she attended the University of Oregon School or Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2021. While earning her law degree, she served as an editor for Oregon Law Review, externed for the Chief Civil Justice in Eugene, clerked for a medium-sized firm specializing in estate planning, and served as a tutor for Oregon’s highly-rated legal research and writing program.
Following law school, Kourtney practiced for several years in Oregon, where she grew her estate planning practice. Now, Kourtney is pleased to be back in Idaho, but maintains her license in both Oregon and Idaho to continue assisting clients in both states.
Outside of work, Kourtney enjoys spending time with her husband golfing, snow skiing, and exploring with their dog, Remy.
