Hired Law firm 2018-2019I give this firm zero! No kindness! Big Bully! I can't believe how I trusted Mr. Parsons (the founder of this law firm) I paid him 300$ cash to file my company's LLC we with the Secretary of the State of Idaho. I thought with that I would get an Operating Agreement. Well all he did was file the LLC with the state. I had to get my Boise Law firm to draw up my operation agreement. Then, Mr Parsons, put the wrong mailing address on the TINY form and my company got DESOLVED!...Becuse I did not get mail from the state. I again had to fix his work. I called him thinking he would apologize to me and pay me the 31 $ bucks from his typo. Instead he blamed me for signing it. Would not say he was sorry...or even pay me 31$ bucks. He is too old and has no KINDNESS. He should not be in practice any longer. And he also took copies of all my companies in Boise operation agreements saying he needed these for the new LLC ...he basically took my other lawyers work saying he needed it to create the new LLC Operating Agreement...then he refused to create the new company operation agreement. He told me I did not need one. I told him I had to have one becuse i own a medical companies and must show them in audits and to get provider numbers.... he continued to refuse. He would not print the document for me! Tara Rayvonti

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
