Attorney Information

Overview

Analy Ayala is an attorney who helps individuals and families navigate some of life’s most important—and sometimes overwhelming—legal decisions, with a focus on immigration and estate planning.

Analy began her legal career as a Trusts & Estates attorney at a large firm in Chicago, where she worked on sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth clients. While she valued the experience (and the skyline views), she ultimately realized that her heart—and her clients—were in the suburbs, where she could build closer relationships and have a more direct impact on the families she serves.

She later moved to a high-volume immigration practice, managing over 100 cases at a time (yes, really), guiding clients through everything from family-based petitions to complex removal defense. She now brings that same level of care, strategy, and attention to detail to her estate planning work, because planning ahead should feel empowering, not intimidating.

Analy earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois, where she spent two years in the Immigration Law Clinic representing clients in pro-bono humanitarian and family-based matters. She received the CALI Award (aka “top student” award) for her work in the clinic, which is something she is proud of. She also graduated summa cum laude from Aurora University with a degree in Political Science and Public Policy, finishing in just three years.

A proud first-generation attorney, Analy was born in Durango, Mexico and came to the United States at the age of one. Her personal experience with the immigration system shapes her approach to client care: thoughtful, patient, and deeply committed to making people feel seen and supported. Analy is fluent in English and Spanish and regularly works with clients in both languages. She is especially passionate about helping families plan for the future and protect what they’ve built.

Outside the office, Analy enjoys spending time with her family, supporting their business ventures, and appreciating the slower pace of suburban life that she loves.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
