Adam E. Gohn - Chicago, IL

Adam concentrates his law practice on immigration law, estate & business planning, bankruptcy, and representing small businesses.

Adam was raised in Jackson Missouri and is a graduate of Jackson High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University where he received his B.A. and B.S. with honors, was an Honors Scholar, and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. At Southeast, Adam was selected to spend time at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. and named to Southeast Missouri Business Today's 40 under 40. He received his J.D. at Southern Illinois University where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi: the international legal honors society, graduated in the top 1/3 of his class, was named to the Dean's Honor List, and earned the CALI award for excellence in Immigration Law. Adam has written and presented numerous scholarly papers on a variety of topics, including: Ethics, Taxation, and Public Opinion.

While in law school, Adam gained valuable and diverse legal experience as a clerk for a small law firm in Cape Girardeau, as a project assistant at the Immigration Detention Project, and as a clerk at the SIU Elder Law Clinic.

Adam is licensed to practice law in all Missouri state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Adam has been a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for more than 5 years, and serves the community as Chairman of the Girardeau Goes Green Advisory Board. An avid outdoorsman, Adam enjoys cycling, fishing, camping, hiking, and spending time with his wife and their dog. Adam and his family reside in Cape Girardeau.
