Daniel J. Arnett, the founder and partner of Arnett Law Group, LLC, is an accomplished litigator with a record of success in toxic tort, product liability, insurance defense and commercial litigation. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Arnett serves as a counselor, providing guidance to corporate executives, entrepreneurs, families and friends in personal and commercial matters.

Practicing nationally, he has handled or managed cases in 15 states as lead counsel or co-counsel. These have included numerous high-stakes cases involving complex issues of fact and law. Dan serves as national counsel for a Newark based chemical company, managing its litigation throughout the country.

At Arnett Law Group, LLC, Mr. Arnett has worked diligently to build a team of experienced attorneys who bring incisive minds to bear on difficult legal problems. Open and collaborative, they deliver creative solutions to issues involving business organization, corporate growth and risk management. In their trial practice, the firm’s attorneys are disciplined in their approach and fight tenaciously to protect their clients’ interests. Dan has worked hard to instill in the team his values of leadership, integrity and compassion.

Daniel J. Arnett received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1990. He graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 1994 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar that same year. He is a long-standing member of DRI (Defense Research Institute) and very involved with DRI’s Trial Tactics Committee and its programs. In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA). Mr. Arnett also held an adjunct professorship at DePaul University College of Law in 2010 and 2011, during which time he taught a course focused on pre-trial civil litigation skills.
