Trial Results & Notable CasesMr. Rashid has achieved significant results in complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases, including:
- $32.7 million jury verdict – Obtained in his first trial with Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard for a man who suffered a life-altering foot amputation after doctors failed to recognize signs of a blood clot. The verdict is the highest reported Illinois verdict for the loss of one leg or foot.
- $28 million medical malpractice settlement – Secured for a client harmed by medical negligence.
- $241 million jury verdict – Obtained as part of a trial team for the family of a Missouri man who died while transporting dry ice as part of his work as a courier. The verdict included $49.5 million in compensatory damages and $191.5 million in punitive damages.
Mr. Rashid also holds medical malpractice verdict and settlement records in Cook County, Richland County, and Crawford County, reflecting his ability to handle some of the most complex and high-stakes medical negligence cases.
