He also undertook independent legal research endeavors and authored “Disagreements on the De Minimis Exception for Sampling of Sound Recordings” and “Survey of Law Governing Carrier Liability Under the Carmack Amendment to the Interstate Commerce Act.” Additionally, he earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy. In 2023, Evan graduated with his Juris Doctor and was licensed before the Supreme Court of Illinois.
