Overview

Throughout her career, Genevieve has represented clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters throughout the Chicagoland area. Her litigation experience includes cases involving parental rights, divorce (pre-decree and post-decree), parenting time, child support, maintenance, property division, and orders of protection in the Domestic Relations and Domestic Violence Divisions of the Circuit Court of Cook County and surrounding counties. In addition to handling matters in the Chicagoland area, Genevieve practices family law in her hometown of Quincy, Illinois (Adams County), where she serves as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in domestic relations proceedings.

Genevieve is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), serving on several councils and committees for the organization in addition to coordinating networking events and speaking at many continuing legal education courses. Genevieve served on the Board of Directors for the Women's Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) for several years and received the WBAI's prestigious "Service Award" in recognition of her dedication and commitment to WBAI's mission and governing principles. Genevieve has planned quarterly continuing legal education events and social events for the domestic relations community. Genevieve remains deeply involved with her alma mater, DePaul University College of Law, where she serves as a member of the Family Law Advisory Board and provides mentorship to law students.
