My passion for helping people create and grow their families was ignited when handling my first adoption case in 1993. Since then, I have devoted my practice to aiding individuals and couples alike to achieve their dreams of becoming parents and to establish stable, caring and loving homes for children. I walk prospective parents through preparing and submitting the necessary paperwork, completing their background checks and complying with the other legal requirements. My law office also explains the adoption tax credit and helps prospective adoptive parents understand their legal and financial options.

I represent adoptive and foster parents and conduct mediations on their behalf in service appeals with the child welfare system. In addition to my work with adoptive families, I represent intended parents, surrogates, egg donors and egg recipients with advanced reproductive technology-related matters. My law office drafts and negotiates advanced reproductive technology contracts, helping surrogates and intended parents agree to the legal issues and define their roles, so they can avoid potentially devastating disagreements down the road.
