Heidi L. Wickstrom is a Partner at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. who focuses her practice on catastrophic personal injury, medical negligence, product liability, and wrongful death cases. Since joining the firm in 2018, Ms. Wickstrom has recovered more than $425 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured individuals and families.

With extensive trial experience in both New York and Illinois, Ms. Wickstrom brings a unique perspective to complex litigation. She is known for her thorough case preparation, strong courtroom advocacy, and ability to present complicated medical and legal issues clearly to judges and juries.

Throughout her career, Ms. Wickstrom has secured significant results for clients in complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases, including:

• $75.86 million jury verdict – Obtained as part of a trial team for a young girl who suffered a brain injury and severe physical injuries at birth, requiring lifelong care.
• $50.3 million jury verdict – Secured as part of a trial team for a child who suffered a severe and permanent brain injury following a delay in the diagnosis and treatment of hypoxia before birth.
• $15.7 million jury verdict – Obtained while practicing in New York against Consolidated Edison of New York.
• $10 million jury verdict – Secured against the New York City Transit Authority.
• $5.4 million jury verdict – Obtained against the New York City Transit Authority.

Before joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Ms. Wickstrom spent 11 years at a prominent New York litigation firm representing plaintiffs in cases involving some of the nation’s largest corporations and public entities. She obtained her first solo jury verdict just two months after being admitted to practice law in New York and later handled appellate matters before New York’s First and Second Departments of the Appellate Division.

Ms. Wickstrom earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2003 and her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2007. During law school, she served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society and worked as a law student intern at a boutique personal injury firm.

Outside the courtroom, Ms. Wickstrom enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, exploring the city, and spending time with her dog, Jack.
