Overview
Mr. Joshua P. Haid is one of the founding members of the firm and is now the managing partner. He co-founded the firm after being approached by a former lawyer who believed there was a need for a law firm focused on the rights of women and mothers undergoing a divorce. She, herself a corporate lawyer, had just completed and underwent the stress and frustration of a divorce, and believed there needed to be a firm that was fair, aggressive when necessary, and most of all, honest and straightforward with all their clients about the entire process. With her help, Mr. Haid set up the first law firm in Chicago to focus on Women's and Mother's rights, which has now grown to three offices in Chicago's downtown-loop, Lake Forest, Lisle.
Mr. Haid is an experienced family law attorney and handles complex divorce and custody cases throughout Illinois, and sometimes, internationally. He has lectured on the topics of divorce and custody, and is credited with filing Illinois' first ever same-sex divorce. During his years practicing, he has appeared on numerous TV and Radio programs to discuss family law matters relating to both divorce and custody.
Mr. Haid graduated cum laude from DePaul University and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.
