Hired Attorney 2020-2022Attorney did not follow through with any agreed upon actions. Came up with excuses (personal problems) and then quit. Could not find any indications that any correspondence was made with opposing counsel.

Hired Attorney 2024Same thing happened to me! Wish I saw this before. I agree with "Buyer beware Do not hire this attorney he charged me upfront only to quit on me and on top of that wanted to charge me more because I owed him for a job he didn't finish. unethical, unprofessional." Please don't hire him, He needs to learn this aint right. I will be contacting the BBB

Hired Attorney 2022Buyer beware Do not hire this attorney he charged me upfront only to quit on me and on top of that wanted to charge me more because I owed him for a job he didnt finish. unethical, unprofessional, and should have his license as an attorney revoked he’s good to con you out of your money and he’s also good to quit on you. I paid him to help but instead threaten me by saying he will sue . Beware do not let yourself get conned by this scumbag of a human who leaves his work unfinished . And then becomes your worse enemy. This is how he earns a living by ripping people off their hard earned money.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
