Overview
Steven J. Cuda was born and raised in McHenry, Illinois. He has practiced law in Woodstock since 1982 and became a partner with the Law Firm of Hamer, Schuh, & Cuda in 1985, until joining Cowlin, Naughton, Curran, Cuda, and Hanzel in 2024. His practice is concentrated in the areas of family law, estate planning, probate, real estate, and land development. Over the years he has assisted numerous attorneys in contested probate estates.
Mr. Cuda served as a member and president of the McHenry High School Board of Education and as mayor of McHenry from 1993-2001. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Harris Bank, Woodstock from 2001 through 2015. Mr. Cuda is a life-long member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McHenry, Illinois.
