Overview
Ann Ford is an attorney with over 25 years providing legal and advisory services to clients in the healthcare industry.
Ms. Ford’s extensive healthcare career and breadth of experience informs her client-focused approach to providing legal and advisory services. Her legal experience began in private practice at Lord Bissell and Brook and then with Anderson Rasor and Partners. Building on that experience, Ms. Ford became Vice President, General Counsel for Rush North Shore Medical Center followed by Vice President, General Counsel for Rush Copley Medical Center. In 2010, Ms. Ford joined Medline Industries, Inc. as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer rounding out her corporate experience. Prior to joining Malecki Brooks Ford Law Group, LLC, Ms. Ford was a partner at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld, LLC, and Managing Director of its consulting arm, HPS Advise, advising healthcare organizations, hospital systems and medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers in areas of compliance, risk management, governance, physician contracts and credentialing.
Ms. Ford serves on multiple not-for-profit boards including Roosevelt University and the Medical Affairs Professional Society.
Outside of work, Ms. Ford is committed to mentoring and promoting women in the legal and healthcare professions. She continues to advise students through her teaching in the Master of Science in Law program at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law as well as mentoring nursing students at her alma mater Marquette University. At Roosevelt University in Chicago, she is one of the founding co-chairs of the Women’s Leadership Council, and mentors’ young women undergraduate students in leadership.
