We have more than 65 years of combined legal experience in divorce, child custody, child support, property division, orders of protection, prenuptial agreements and other family law matters. Our law firm also provides vigorous criminal defense, personal injury and general litigation services to clients across Kane County.
Founder Michael C. Doyen is a highly accomplished litigator who has tried more than 40 jury trials and hundreds of nonjury trials. He is a retired U.S. Army captain and former Chief of Military Justice who concentrates the majority of his practice on family law matters.
For 25 years, Mr. Doyen practiced with his father-in-law, Robert A. Chapski. In 2016, he founded the the Doyen Law Group, LLC, which includes his wife, Anne Chapski Doyen, his daughter, Kathleen R. Doyen, and his son, Christopher M. Doyen.
