December 12, 1955 – September 9, 2024. Married, five children, eleven grandchildren. Jim dedicated his life to his family, friends, and profession. He passed away at home on September 9, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

Jim practiced law for 44 years before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He was a fierce advocate and tireless worker. He mentored countless lawyers. He was trusted and respected by clients, lawyers, judges, and doctors.

Graduated Quincy College, BA Degree in English, 1977; St. Louis University School of Law, JD, 1980. Licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri.

Former member of Illinois Character and Fitness Committee for Admission to the Bar (Supreme Court appointee).

Member Illinois Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association, East St. Louis Bar Association, Illinois Self-Insureds Association.
