Overview
Stephanie Macuiba developed her passion for estate planning at the Southern Illinois University School of Law where she participated in a year long estate planning and guardianship clinic for the local community, receiving a pro bono service award. During the summers between law school she worked at human rights organizations in India and Lebanon. She also co-founded a fellowship for law students looking to intern in human rights, international law, or immigration law.
She has worked exclusively in the area of probate, guardianship, and estate planning since 2014, working at firms in Southern California and in Illinois. Her favorite part of the job is making complex legal procedures understandable.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She received her degree in International Studies. She also earned a minor in Spanish and spent a semester in Granada, Spain.
After calling sunny California home for several years, she moved back to Illinois where she was born and raised. She keeps busy with her husband, two kids and dogs, Teddy and Tommy.
