I worked construction in 2016 when I had an accident that had me fall through a house, 3 surgeries in my leg - about a year and some of physical therapy, Relearned how to walk, Land and water. Lived in my parents Living room in a rented hospital bed for 5 months unable to walk for most of those 5 months and heavily assisted for those 5, we are talking Wheelchair, walker, crutches, the whole deal. This is where I met Mark. Racking up about $160 Thousand in Medical bills with an insurance company that fought tooth and nail to not pay a dollar more than they had to for me to be at what they call "Maximum Medically Improved" (which is really just ("good enough", in THEIR OPINION))... I faced some tough options. Like you reading these reviews, I had searched for someone who I could take a chance on to get the justice I deserved with such an event that led to me being medically impacted for the rest of my life due to multiple parties negligence. Mark talked with me on the phone for a very brief amount of time before asking to come and see me at my house. He sat with me, Witnessed my misery and listened to my needs and offered to create a plan for me to move forward. Not only to getting better medically which was the most important part but Fighting to get the treatment and care necessary to be as good as I could be with such injuries sustained. There are a LOT of video's and law forums/advertisements For injury lawyers out there. It's a decision you thought you'd never have had to make, you didn't want to be "that person" that lawyered up. You're in a position where you get ONE shot at going to court to get it right. If you miss the target, have a bad lawyer, you're done. No second chances. Mark and I filed against 3 parties in Early summer of 2016. we fought, Discovery Period at a time, roughly 90 to 120 days at a time. Every Discovery period led to a conference with the judge to oversee the new evidence. We did this until the Spring of 2019 where we had secured collection from 2 of the 3 parties, one of which was their maximum for collecting. In fact it was on Good Friday in 2019 and let me tell you, Fridays have a new meaning to me now, especially in April. But with 2 of 3 defendants down, we had 1 final defendant remaining in the suit which Delayed and tried to push us as far from trial as they could take us, even using this pandemic as their tool to scare us off. For a Defense that SWORE they'd beat us at trial, It sure did take them 6 months to find their Best Professional witness to Depose, including suddenly having to leave the country and were unable to attend a pre trial conference due to travel. Spring of 2021 comes, Finally the Defense is ready to give up and offer settlement that would be acceptable to myself and Mark. FINALLY the case was over and FINALLY my Justice was complete. It took 5 years to complete my lawsuit. 5 years. I don't point this out to scare anyone that would read this, but to encourage. There will be times when you don't understand why things are happening how they are happening. It seems so obvious what should be happening. Time and time again, you'll be thrown in uncertainty because the justice system and these insurance companies and these lawyers that you'll be deposed by, their job is to cast doubt in your mind and to distract you from the truth of what you deserve. To protect bottom lines,. Mark will guide you through these times, as he did for me. Your job is to hire the RIGHT Lawyer. Your job isn't to tell him what to do, It's to plug him into the situation and let him do what he does. ANY questions you have, you can ask him. Approachable and knowledgeable he will make things clear for you when you need the information. So why Pick Mark as your Lawyer? I collected Versus all 3 of the groups I took to a judge, It was with Mark and It would have most likely have ONLY happened through him. He made things so simple with ZERO inconsistency.
