John Christensen is the managing director of business valuations and forensic accounting for Levin & Brend, P.C. in Chicago, Illinois and Cleveland, Ohio. At Levin & Brend, he specializes in the areas of business valuation, forensic accounting, shareholder disputes, transactional advisory services, and litigation support services. Business Valuation Services: Provides business valuation, forensic accounting and litigation support services as an expert witness in numerous jurisdictions throughout the United States. Supports attorneys in disputes with opposing expert reports, preparing rebuttal reports and trial testimony. Assists in settlement negotiations in complex litigation cases.
Forensic Accounting Services: Performs forensic investigations for clients claiming hidden assets and/or unreported income against another party. Assists attorneys and clients in locating and recovering hidden assets by examining both transaction records and legal agreements and tracking flows of funds.
Litigation Support Services: Assists trial attorneys in deposition and trial preparation in cases involving high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses. Services include preparation of attorneys for cross-examination of witnesses and financial experts.
Transaction Advisory Services: Provides financial analysis services such as due diligence, cash flow analysis, market analysis and valuation modeling services to clients involved in a variety of merger and acquisition transactions.
