Michael received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and his Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School. For more than 20 years, he has been successfully practicing family and divorce law, where he uses his expertise in divorce, paternity, custody, child support and asset discovery.

Michael has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer since 2008 and is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association and Kane County Bar Association.
