Hired Attorney 2024-2026Steve Balk isnt worth 25$ DO NOT choose balk if I was you I wish I would have listened to the reviews about him not fighting for the goals of the cases of his previous clients because he didn't fight for me AT ALL! His secretary worked harder then balk sending invoices for balk not doing anything Once he got the big down payment he sat back and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but charge me.. in fact When I set up an appointment IN HIS OFFICE TO show him the evidence he sat across the table in the lawyer's office in SILVIS , and he was POPPING HIS PIMPLES ON HIS ARM , he kept smashing pimples on his arm looking down at his arm as I was talking about the case and safety of my daughter.. he couldn't care less about the case or anything but the money, zits on his arm🤮🤮 He DIDN'T SPEAK 5 words for me in COURT. I'm not so sure he knows how to speak in the court room in 2 years he didn't say 5 words to fight for me ... what joke Do not choose balk unless u want to flush thousands $$ down the drain for him to not talk in court like a mute... He didn't use the proper paperwork to request a parenting time change in schedule to modify it... he doesn't have a clue.. he charged me 8,000 and didn't represent me at all.. beware of this guy... What happened to the deposition I paid you a 1000 for?? ..you didn't bring anything up about it in court no questions for my ex on the stand a mute A crook for a lawyer

Hired Attorney 2021Do not hire this Attorney if you are expecting him to have a high standard of Ethics. This Attorney had the Social Media Contact a Bias Judge posted to parties publicly. He Refused to Demand Recusal. In Court he did not ask one single question about the " Other Part of why we were in Court." Protecting the other party. Told me to take out CC to pay, and he would file Bankrupt later. Convinced me to let him withdraw my Pro Se Motion to Reconsider, by stating the Judge wanted to put me in Jail, and was " Mad" at me. Then telling me the Judge that had originally signed the Order, the one my mother had once dated had " Retired" and never addressing all the multiple counts of Fraud in the case or the court. All the while leading me to think an investigation of my allegations was being conducted, telling me to not call any Officials of law. Have to wonder if this is WHY his legal aide QUIT.
