Hired Attorney 2018-2020She has zero compassion and hates men. Do not waste your time with this lazy moron. She will empty your bank account and ignore your calls. I hired her and she acted more like my ex wives attorney than mine. She is also terrified of going to trial so she isn’t going to fight for you.

Consulted Attorney 2022-2023She's been on my case for awhile. Unfortunately. Kim Will lie to ur face in her office and side completely with the father in court. No matter how much overwhelming evidence of abuse I have against him. She continues to lie every chance she gets. Even her Assistant hates women. My children are suffering because of Kim talkin! Run far away from her!

Hired Attorney 2015-2016She acts like she is helping you, but she is incompetent. She didn’t even understand the law and let my EX’s attorney tell her what to do. She called me at 4:45 the night before Atrial and told me if I didn’t agree to my EX’s demands, his attorney would go after money my deceased father had given me that I had kept separate and paid tax separately on. I refused and she said that she understood it, but his attorney could confuse the Judge! I have a daughter that was young and I was adamant that he was abusive. My daughter is suffering from anxiety and depression thanks to her total incompetence. She takes your money and then lets the other attorney make all f the calls. She was so afraid of the Judge, she never once objected to anything while his attorney must have objected 50 times. I left court traumatized, shocked and found that I still had to pay her. She is a great liar in her office, but a terrible attorney. I fired her as soon as the Judge would let me.

Hired Attorney 2021After my experience, I can verify the previous reviews are spot on. I unfortunately got to find out the hard way. I didn't know could get paid so much for doing so little. Basic details as far as my address, they still couldn't get right after 7 months. They will bleed your account with basic tasks, that you yourself can review for free. They sent revisions to the opposing attorney without my approval. They sent me the details to a case that wasn't even mine. There was no communication. She would wait over a month to send revisions i did actually approve, a day or two before the court date so it was constantly getting pushed off for status hearings, so no progress was being made, but I of course was still getting charged even though the lack of progress was do to her own incompetence. I dont feel I was listened to when I spoke, when I asked questions regarding legal advice I was ignored, when it came time to work I felt I was taken advantage of. I could go on. Overall a terrible, and expensive lesson. Hopefully I can save others from experiencing the same ignorant incompetence I did. When they didn't listen to me well enough to confirm a correct address, I knew they wouldn't thoroughly listen to anything else I had to say.

Kimberly S. Talken graduated magna cum laude from Millikin University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2008, Kim graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law with her Juris Doctor. While a student at NIU, Kim took a clinical class that allowed her to practice in the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic in Rockford, Ill., obtaining orders of protection for victims of domestic violence. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2008.
Kim Talken Since her admission to the bar, Kim has focused mainly on family law, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, post-divorce matters and adoption.
