Overview
Mr. Ewick obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Indiana State University in 1998, and received his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2002. Mr. Ewick was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003, and began his legal career working for the State of Illinois for the Office of the State’s Attorney’s Appellate Prosecutor. In 2008, he accepted a position at a Springfield personal injury law firm where he devoted 100% of his practice to litigation. He tried several civil jury trials as well as numerous workers’ compensation trials. In 2013, Mr. Ewick joined Kanoski Bresney law firm where he now devotes his practice exclusively to workers’ compensation cases. Mr. Ewick is familiar with a wide variety of work-related injuries. Throughout his practice, he has represented workers who have sustained various types of injuries through their employment, such as herniated discs, back strains, torn rotator cuffs, knee injuries, injuries to the feet, hands, elbows, head injuries, aggravations of pre-existing conditions, and occupational diseases. Mr. Ewick strives to obtain the best results for his client whether through a settlement or through a trial.
In addition to the State of Illinois Bar, Mr. Ewick is also admitted to practice before the federal Central District of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
