Overview

Craig Goza is an Associate Attorney with Ramsell & Kunowski, LLC. Craig earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations. Craig went on to get his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in Kansas.

While in law school, Craig’s internships included serving as a legal extern with multiple judges in assisting them with criminal and civil trials. He also worked under a County Prosecutor as a legal intern and conducted research regarding the constitutionality of Kansas’ implied consent law as it related to recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions dealing with DUIs and the 4th Amendment. During Craig’s last year of law school, Craig served as a litigation law clerk for the Kansas Corporation Commission and worked with various regulations, statutes and administrative case law. Additionally, he was an associate lobbyist and law clerk addressing various public policy issues during the Kansas legislative session.

Craig has been a practicing attorney since graduating from law school in 2017 and has worked in various roles. Craig served as a prosecuting attorney handling felony and misdemeanor matters, served as an attorney at a juvenile office prosecuting delinquency and child abuse cases. Craig also has experience working for private firms handling family law cases, juvenile law, DUI cases and criminal defense matters.

While exploring different practice areas, Craig found his passion in criminal defense and joined an excellent team at Ramsell & Kunowski, LLC.

Craig is licensed by the Illinois Supreme Court, the Missouri Supreme Court and the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Craig is also a member of the Illinois and Missouri Bar Association.

In addition to his passion for his legal work, Craig likes to spend time with his family and enjoys a variety of hobbies. This includes reading and watching documentaries on history, watching hockey, playing tennis, traveling and listening to music. Craig also attends church regularly and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
