Overview
Gina Salamone, a Director with the Firm, concentrates her practice on elder law, estate planning and special needs planning.
Gina has 15 years of experience focusing on assisting families who are facing current or future long term care issues and developing a plan to access care and protect assets. Additionally, Gina works with all types of individuals to discuss and develop detailed and customized estate plans, including Special Needs Trusts for disabled children and adults.
Gina is an active member in the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves on a committee for attorney education.
Gina is a very active member of the community in Aurora. Gina served on the Board of Aurora Downtown from 2015-2024 where she worked on beautifying the downtown area. Gina currently enjoys volunteering for Aurora's parades, the Aurora Historical Society and Charity Blooms.
Prior to coming to Huck Bouma PC, Gina worked as an attorney at Law ElderLaw LLP.
Gina enjoys travel, biking and art and is active in her local artist community. Gina lives in Aurora with her husband Shaun Callahan whom she met in law school.
