Overview

Megan C. Harris joined MKFM Law as an associate attorney in 2013. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received her B.S. in Psychology, summa cum laude. In 2012, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law, magna cum laude. She was admitted to the Illinois bar in November of 2012.

Ms. Harris was formerly an attorney and guardian ad litem with the Cook County Public Guardian, serving abused and neglected children in Chicago. While in law school, she participated in the Family Advocacy Clinic, which served children and parents in abuse and neglect proceedings in Champaign County.

Ms. Harris draws upon her background in family and child advocacy to provide her clients with compassionate and knowledgeable representation. She understands the complex dynamics at work in family cases and works diligently to guide clients through the often complicated and overwhelming domestic relations process. Ms. Harris represents clients in all areas of Family and Domestic Relations law, including divorce, custody, maintenance, visitation, child support, and paternity.
