Mr. Young joined Unsell, Schattnik & Phillips, P.C., as an associate attorney in 2016 and became a partner in 2023. Since the start of his career, he has litigated numerous cases, focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. He also defends municipalities, law enforcement agencies and their insurers in complex civil rights litigation. His work includes representing clients in state and federal courts and achieving favorable outcomes at both the trial and appellate levels, including decisions from the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
