Matt Folz - Bloomington, IN

Matt is an attorney with Mallor Grodner Plummer practicing estate planning, business selection, formation, governance, and succession planning.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2015, both with honors.

A native of Indiana, Matt was a partner with a law firm in Peru, Indiana where he provided clients, many that were family-owned businesses, with representation related to estate planning and farming operations, including taxation, succession, and retirement.

Matt’s passion is ensuring that each client’s wishes are carried out, and that family-owned businesses prosper now, and well into the future. Accomplishing those goals takes a willingness to understand each family’s particular dynamics, a high attention to detail, a commitment to working with each family’s other advisors, and a thorough knowledge of the tax code. Each plan is different. He enjoys meeting new families and their advisors, to help them structure the best plans possible.

Outside of his work at the firm, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, coaching/attending his daughters’ events, watching the Green Bay Packers, and working around the house.
