Richard Hall is an attorney in Mallor Grodner Plummer Attorneys’ private client practice group and has been practicing law for more than 40 years. Richard represents individuals, families, closely-held business owners, and fiduciaries in the areas of business law and transactions, estate planning, probate and trust administration, farm and business succession planning, and taxation. During his career, he has been involved in more than 250 transactions involving sales, reorganizations, and acquisitions of business and investment properties. His background in accounting and business management has proven to be invaluable when counseling clients and businesses regarding transactions and tax matters.
Richard received his JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, in 1981, and his undergraduate degree in business, with a major in accounting, from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a certified public accountant (inactive status).
Richard has spoken at professional seminars and advisor meetings on topics ranging from estate planning, trust administration, fiduciary taxation, and farm and business succession planning. He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and previously served as Chair of the Estate Planning and Solo/Small Firm Sections of the Indy Bar. Richard has been listed in the Martindale-Hubbell registry of preeminent lawyers and named to the Indiana Super Lawyers list for Estate Planning and Probate 18 times.
Richard and his wife, Lisa, live in Brown County, Indiana, and share three adult children.
