Overview

Kendall Ziliak grew up in Posey County where she graduated from North Posey High School in 2013. She went on to attend Purdue University where she majored in Political Science and earned minors in both History and Philosophy. She graduated from Purdue in 3 ½ years with a 4.0 GPA. She then attended the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University-Bloomington. While in law school she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legislation, Administrative Law, and Domestic Relations Mediation. She also competed in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, receiving an award for the best written brief and finishing as an octofinalist. She graduated from Maurer cum laude.

Upon graduation from law school, Kendall married Andrew Ziliak, a farmer in Fort Branch, Indiana. After having worked for Barber & Bauer, LLP for five years, first as an intern and then as a paralegal, she joined the firm as an associate in September 2020. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes fifteen nieces and nephews. She is also known for wanting a big family of her own and for bringing in homemade treats for the office.
