Overview
Terrell R. Maurer graduated from the University of Evansville with honors in 1982. He attended the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and graduated with honors in 1985. He served as Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Knox County Indiana from 1985 until 1987 and then entered the private practice of law in a firm that eventually became Kimmell, Cummings & Maurer.
In 1992, he returned to Evansville to become a Deputy Prosecutor in the Vanderburgh County Prosecutors office. In his last 4 years in this office, he served as Director of the Drug Law Enforcement Program.
In 2000, he was appointed as a Magistrate in the Vanderburgh Superior Court and served until 2011. As a Magistrate, he heard family law, criminal and civil cases. He became an associate in the Bob Zoss Law Office on December 14, 2011.
