Bandie Heffelmire - Indianapolis, IN

Brandie is the Managing Attorney in our Indianapolis office. Brandie earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University. Brandie then attended Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Brandie has assisted hundreds of clients navigate family law matters, ranging from uncontested divorces to complex custody and property litigation. Brandie understands that family law matters can be emotionally charged and strives to provide personalized legal counsel to her clients in their times of need, recognizing that no two family law matters are the same. Brandie strives to be a strong advocate for her clients both in negotiating a resolution outside of court and in presenting a strong case in the courtroom.

Brandie has always been devoted to supporting women and children through difficult times. In law school, she served as the Community Service Coordinator and then Vice President of the Women’s Law Caucus. Brandie also worked in the Chance at Childhood Clinic in her final year of law school, providing the courts with detailed reports in custody and guardianship cases.

Brandie lives with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs. In her free time, Brandie enjoys staying active by exercising and walking her dogs, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
