Overview

Mr. Indiano received his bachelor's degree in chemistry and economics from Indiana University (1977) and his Juris Doctor from Indiana University at Indianapolis (1982). He has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1981 and has been engaged in private practice in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law since 1982. Mr. Indiano has been the author of numerous publications and has spoken to and/or written articles for a wide variety of groups including the Indianapolis Business Journal, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, the Indiana Institute for New Business Ventures, Inventure, the Indiana Entrepreneurship Academy, the Indiana Small Business Development Conference, the Indiana Inventor's Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He has been a presenter may times for the Indiana Bar Association at the annual Solo and Small Firm Conference.

Mr. Indiano was an adjunct professor of business law at IUPUI from 1988 through 1991 and was chairman of the GP, Solo, and Small Firm Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. His civic and business interests include former memberships on the Boards of Directors of Secondary Marketing Company, Inc., and Education Debt Services, Inc. (both of which were USA GROUP, Inc. subsidiaries), The Fine Arts Society of Indianapolis, Inc. (formerly its Secretary and member of the Executive Committee), and Secretary of the Brebeuf Alumni Association. He formerly served on the boards of the Hamilton Southeastern Men’s Lacrosse Club and the Hamilton Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse Club. He was also president of the Cathedral-Chatard Hockey Club.

Mr. Indiano is the founder of Indiano Law Group LLC and deals extensively with a wide range of intellectual property matters for clients in a variety of technological disciplines.
