I am Christopher Gilley, founder of Gilley Law, Indianapolis, Indiana, and I bring decades of courtroom experience and a deeply personal commitment to each client I represent. Raised in Plymouth, Indiana, by my grandparents, I earned athletic scholarships for basketball and baseball before an injury redirected my course. Working my way through college and law school, I graduated with top honors – an outcome of perseverance and hard work that still shapes how I approach every case.

My prosecutorial tenure took me through Hamilton, Madison and Marion counties, where I served as a deputy prosecuting attorney and tried well over 100 jury trials. Those years exposed me to the full range of criminal matters and taught me how to build a case, read a jury and adapt strategy under pressure. Having seen the justice system from the state’s perspective, I now use that insight to defend clients vigorously and anticipate the opposing side’s tactics.

My academic background includes a J.D. from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law and a B.S. from Manchester College. I have been recognized as a 2021 Lawyer of Distinction and rated “Very Good” on Avvo. Those milestones reflect sustained dedication to legal practice and client service.
