Attorney Information
Overview
Keaton Elliott is an associate attorney focusing on immigration law. He represents individuals and families in a variety of immigration matters, including asylum applications, Special Immigrant Juvenile petitions, adjustment of status, humanitarian relief, employment authorization, deferred action, and other immigration benefits.
Prior to joining the firm, Keaton worked for approximately one and a half years at a nonprofit organization where he focused primarily on representing unaccompanied children (UACs) in immigration proceedings. In that role, he conducted Know-Your-Rights presentations for children in Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) custody, screened minors for potential forms of relief, and prepared applications including Forms I-589 (Asylum) and I-360 (Special Immigrant Juvenile Status). During his time there, he also filed a federal habeas action in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana that resulted in the release of two minors from foster care facilities.
Before his nonprofit work, Keaton clerked for approximately two years at a private immigration law firm in Indiana, where he assisted with a broad range of immigration matters, including asylum, Military Parole in Place, adjustment of status applications, employment authorization documents, and deferred action requests. This experience provided him with exposure to both humanitarian and family-based immigration practice.
Keaton graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2024 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2020. He is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of his practice, Keaton enjoys playing music, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his wife. He and his wife recently purchased their first home and share it with their two cats and dog.
