Shan Bryant-Haase brings her unique experiences and background as both a Registered Nurse and attorney to her practice at Garau Germano, P.C.
Shan is a Hoosier native. Shan attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Shan began working in the health care industry while in Nursing School and continued for several years after graduating. Shan has experience caring for a variety of patients including orthopedic patients, post-surgical patients, and patients with multiple complex medical problems. Shan later became a medical device consultant with a focus in medical surgical, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, and obstetrics.
Shan attended Law School at the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis and earned a J.D. degree with a concentration in Health Law. Shan joined the firm of Garau Germano, P.C. in 2006. Shan focuses her areas of practice on medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death.
Shan's care and compassion for the patient and their families as a bedside nurse has carried over to her practice of law and the approach she takes with helping injured patients and their families. Shan strongly advocates for the patient and their loved ones who have been injured by the negligent acts of another. Shan empathizes with those individuals who are wrongly injured, and she strives to obtain the remedy and compensation they deserve.
Shan is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations as well as a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice.
