Overview
Cheyenne Younger decided she was going to be a lawyer when she was a young girl and started on her path to making that dream a reality at an early age. She graduated from Bellarmine University in just 2 and a half years with Cum Laude honors, and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Cheyenne was admitted to the Ohio Bar in October 2021 and the Indiana bar in November 2021.
Cheyenne started her legal career working in criminal defense. She immediately found her passion for fighting for those who have been accused of a crime and working to defend their reputations, their futures, and their families. Cheyenne began practicing at her own law firm right out of law school and in 2021 she joined Pillar Law Group LLP as a criminal defense lawyer and litigator. Cheyenne is an executive board member for 1Voice and has held this position since 2022.
As a criminal defense attorney, Cheyenne takes pride in giving every client and every case individualized attention and using her experience to help clients navigate their way through tough times. She has represented clients at jury trials, bench trials, hearings, and plea negotiations. Cheyenne has built a reputation as a tough and talented attorney who has the skill and the experience to fight for her clients.
Cheyenne dedicates a significant amount of time outside of normal work hours training and improving her skills. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their family and friends. Cheyenne is a lifelong Dearborn County and Lawrenceburg resident, and enjoys giving back to the community and staying involved.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
