Overview
Ashley Eklund comes to Madison from her hometown of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Ashley received her Bachelor's from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she double majored in English and History. While at Centre College, she was a member of both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Ashley is currently the President of the Jefferson County Bar Association.
Ashley graduated with honors from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. As a result of her participation on the trial team and her passion for advocacy, Ashley was inducted into The Order of Barristers with her graduating class in 2016.
While in law school, Ashley interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Kentucky and at the Lawrence County Public Defender's Office in Bedford, Indiana.
