Overview

Laurie graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History. In 1997, Laurie began an internship with Clerk of the Indiana Court of Appeals, Supreme Court and Tax Court and continued her employment with the Clerk’s office until 1999. During her time with Clerk of Court’s office, Laurie gained substantial expertise and knowledge of Indiana appellate practice and procedure.

Laurie continued her education at Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis and received her law degree in 2002. Laurie joined Richards, Boje, Pickering, Benner & Becker as a law clerk in 2000 and began full-time as an attorney upon her admission to the Indiana Bar in 2002. Since joining the firm, Laurie has worked on a variety of legal issues and focuses her practice primarily on the areas of general civil litigation, including complex litigation matters, personal injury, appeals and estate planning. Laurie’s appellate practice includes both criminal and civil appeals before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court.

Laurie currently resides in Noblesville, Indiana with her husband Aaron and their two children.
