In 1980, attorney Michael Riley founded our law firm, the Law Office of Michael Riley P.C. in Rensselaer, Indiana, as a way to serve the citizens of our community and help them with all of their legal needs. Now, almost 40 years later, Mr. Riley and his associate attorney, Jacob Ahler, continue to provide the highest level of representation possible to our clients in the following practice areas:

With more than 50 years of experience practicing law, Mr. Riley has handled a wide variety of cases, including several death penalty cases, and he currently serves as chief public defender for Jasper County. Mr. Ahler is also a public defender for White County, and he focuses primarily on estate planning, civil and commercial litigation, and criminal defense.
