Attorney Tyler is a graduate of the University of Iowa Law School and University of Iowa Masters in Business Program. She has over 25 years experience as an attorney in litigation private practice. More importantly, as a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, Leanne has worked extensively in developing specialized trial skills. Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College trains very limited number of attorneys on a highly selective basis. Leanne Tyler, like other lawyers selected, learned special trial skills by Gerry Spence and a staff of experienced lawyers nationwide. Further, Attorney Tyler has formerly been a prosecutor and U.S. Department of Defense attorney.
Attorney Tyler is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Iowa Association for Justice and the Scott County Bar Association. Attorney Tyler practices in state courts of Iowa, as well as the following federal courts: United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
