Attorney Information
Overview
Isabelle Webber is an Iowa attorney who represents employees and individuals in civil litigation. Her practice focuses on workplace disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and other employment related claims. She is committed to helping clients understand their rights, evaluate their options, and make informed decisions about what comes next.
Isabelle brings years of hands-on litigation experience to her practice. Before law school, she spent more than two and a half years as a paralegal at a boutique law firm in Des Moines. While in that position, she supported civil cases from intake through resolution, drafted complaints, and analyzed discovery. She also conducted client and witness interviews and served as a primary point of contact between clients and attorneys.
A native of Marion, Iowa, Isabelle earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, where she studied Sociology, Public Policy, and Public Health. At Iowa she served as a Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government and co-founded Hawkeyes for Warren, which hosted one of the largest pre-caucus rallies in the state. She interned full-time for Elizabeth Warren's 2020 presidential campaign and later worked as a field organizer in Linn County during the 2020 election cycle.
Isabelle earned her J.D. from Drake University Law School in May 2026. During law school, she joined Fiedler Law Firm as a Law Clerk in 2024 and became an attorney with the firm after graduating in 2026. At Drake, she competed on the Environmental Moot Court team and was a member of OUTLaws. She served as a legislative intern in the Iowa House of Representatives for Representative Megan Srinivas and later served as an intern for the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board.
Isabelle's years in organizing and public service shape how she practices law. As a campaign organizer, she made hundreds of calls a week and recruited and led teams of volunteers, learning that people open up when they feel genuinely heard and that trust is built one conversation at a time. At the Iowa Statehouse, she saw how laws are researched, debated, and written, and she organized listening sessions that gave Iowans a direct line to the people making decisions about their lives. She brings those lessons to her cases. Many of her clients come to her after being ignored or dismissed at work. Isabelle makes sure they are heard, that they understand the law and the road ahead, and that their story is told clearly and persuasively.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
