Firm Information
Overview
I am attorney Richard A. Carnahan. My Kansas law firm, the Law Office of Richard A. Carnahan, is dedicated to providing clients with efficient and cost-effective representation in a broad range of practice areas. I have been practicing law for the past 34 years, 30 of which have been spent in De Soto. My firm serves individuals and families in Johnson County, Wyandotte County and throughout the surrounding areas.
My areas of practice include:
- Estate planning — Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, probate and more
- Mass tort claims — Pharmaceutical cases involving Fen-Phen, Plavix, Avandia, Ortho-Evra contraceptive patches, transvaginal mesh (TVM), and other defective or dangerous products
- Real estate law — Residential and commercial transactions and litigation, boundary disputes and more.
I am rated Distinguished* by Martindale-Hubbell and have taught continuing legal education classes for other lawyers in Kansas. To arrange an appointment about estate planning or any other area of practice, contact my De Soto office, located next door to the Johnson County Library.
Evening and weekend appointments as well as off-site appointments are available by request. I am also happy to offer a free initial consultation for any pharmaceutical mass tort case.
